Shirley Ann Glass

Shirley Ann Glass, 74, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away, on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Ferguson, Kentucky on September 24, 1936 daughter of the late Dewey and Rowena Cook Godby. She was a retired health care worker for Oakwood. She is survived by her husband, Leon Glass whom she married on January 11, 1952, one son, Danny Glass of Eubank, KY, three daughters, Betty & (Barry) Glass Taylor of Somerset, Janet Nadine Patterson of Kings Mountain, KY, and Judy Carroll of Stanford, KY, one brother, Boyd Godby of Lexington, KY, two sisters Benitta Russell of Louisville, KY, and Etta Mae Russell of Campbellsville, KY, nine grandchildren, Niki Taylor, Katie Taylor, Sonny Patterson, Stephanie Patterson Wesley, Brian Glass, Tyler Glass, Jeremiah Harville, Jason Harville, and Michelle Carroll and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by, a son, Ricky Glass, and five brothers, Charlie Godby, Roscoe Sherwood Godby, Dewey Godby Jr., Clifford Godby, and Loyd Godby. A funeral service will be held at 4:30 PM Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gordon Chaney officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday January 1, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
