Charles Emil "Bo" Slagle

Charles Emil "Bo" Slagle, 73, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Wallins, Kentucky on August 27, 1937, son of the late Dorcey Emil and Martha Jane Saylor Slagle. He was a truck driver. He is survived by two daughters, Debra Sue & (Bill) Hall of Oneida, TN and Kathy Joann Martin of Greenville, NC, three sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Stanton of Somerset, Shirley Dobbs of Science Hill and Audna Slagle Brewer of Leesburg, FL, eight grandchildren, Melissa Hall & (Scott) Rector, Margaret Michelle & (Paul) Bogart, Marki Lee Hall, Mariah Shyanne Hall, Billy Mark Hall, Julia Teresa Martin, Jacki Lynne Martin, Leslie Joann Martin and three great-grandchildren, Ashton Lane Rector, Olivia Michelle Rector and Alexander Scott Rector. He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, Iva Slagle, Eva Slagle, Vada Slagle Unthank, Reba Saylor Sparks, Edna Slagle Stutzman and Elizabeth Slagle Jones and seven brothers, Larence Slagle, Lee Opal Slagle, Vernon Slagle, Haskell Saylor, William "Bill" Slagle, Frank Slagle and Jesse Saylor. A funeral service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, February 13, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Delmer Whitter and Bro. Gary New officiating. Visitation will be after 1 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pulaski Baptist Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Charles Emil "Bo" Slagle Memorial Fund, c/o Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
