Ruth Ann Carr

Ruth Ann Carr, 53, of Mansfield, Texas, formerly of Pulaski County, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011. She was born in Science Hill, Kentucky on September 14, 1957, daughter of Fayrene Hudson Thurman and the late Lester Thurman. She is survived by her mother, Fayrene Thurman of Somerset, two children, Keith Hyde of Lexington, KY and Carmen & (Melvin) Smith of Mansfield, TX, two brothers, Kenneth Thurman of Bronston and Tony Thurman of Sloans Valley, one sister, Kimberly New of Somerset, sister-in-law, Alma Thurman of Bronston, three grandchildren, Alex, Tosha and Malea, niece, Kasey New Renfro of Somerset, nephew, Shane & (Hope) Thurman of Somerset, great-nephews and niece, Landon, Nathan and Katelyn Thurman and Logan Renfro. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Clifford Thurman. Also deceased is one brother, Russell Thurman. A memorial service was held at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
