Ernest L. Adkins

Ernest L. Adkins, 81, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Friday, March 4, 2011 at Paducah Care & Rehab. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 30, 1929, son of the late Luther and Gilla Bray Adkins. He was a lab technician for Fernald Company in Ross, Ohio. He is survived by one son, Russell Adkins of Cadiz, KY and two grandchildren, Kyle Adkins and Jamie Adkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Ruth Howard Adkins, his parents, one son, Carl Adkins, his brothers and sisters. A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Thickett Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
