Vula Mae Broyles Hansford Presley, 82, formerly of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Franklin United Methodist Community in Franklin, Indiana. She was born in Plato, Kentucky on August 5, 1928, daughter of the late Walter and Anna Brown Broyles. She was an inspector for Fairmount Glass Works in Indianapolis, IN and a member of Fairview Church of Christ. After retirement, she returned to Eubank, where she enjoyed raising cows and making her quilts. She is survived by one son, Garry & (Patty) Hansford of Indianapolis, IN, four daughters, Patricia Stinson of Greenwood, IN, Marsha Lowes and Sandra & (Donald) Finch, both of Indianapolis, IN and Debra & (David) Toler of Scottsdale, AZ, one brother, Sherwin & (Wilma) Broyles, three sisters, Thressel & (Henry) Owens, Verla Burns and Marie & (Lowell) Frazier, fourteen grandchildren, twenty eight great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Presley, her parents, one son, Larry Hansford and two brothers, Vola Broyles and Elmer Broyles. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 14, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Curt Herrington officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
