Gracie B. Flanery

Gracie B. Flanery, 79 of Crutchfield Street in Science Hill, passed away Friday, April 27, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Letcher County, Kentucky on April 21, 1928, daughter of the late Joda and Susan Hampton Blair. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Ernest Orell & (Vicky) Flanery of Eubank, two daughters, Shirley & (Jim) Butt of Somerset and Wanda Gossett of Science Hill, two sisters, Georgia Bradford of Nashville, TN and Joyce Caudill of Dayton, OH, one sister-in-law, Della Flanery of Lexington, seven grandchildren, Greg & (Donna) Butt, Shelia Ladd, Sue Ann & (Ken) Ward, Dwayne Gossett, Randy Gossett, Andrew Flanery and Brittany Flanery, three great-grandchildren, Kayla Gossett, J.T. Ladd and Creighton Ladd and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orell Flanery, her parents and one sister, Faye Blair. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, April 30, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill with Bro. Ronald Wesley officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
