James Lawrence "Jim" Mize

James Lawrence "Jim" Mize, 78, of Mooresville, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at St. Frances Hospital in Mooresville, Indiana. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on February 9, 1933, son of the late Bert and Retta Harris Mize. He was a truck driver and factory worker. He was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Betty Adams Mize of Mooresville, IN and one sister, Lura Sears of Somerset. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Harold Mize and Donald Mize and four sisters, Rita Whitaker, Lucille Price, Lena Price and Florence Mize. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. William Brown officiating. Visitation will be after 3 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Short Creek Cemetery. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
