Gladys Jasper Ard

Gladys Jasper Ard, 73 of Barrett Road in West Chester, Ohio, formerly of Pulaski County, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at Hawthorne Glen Senior Living Campus in Middletown, Ohio. She was born in Pulaski County on September 23, 1933, daughter of the late Elmer and Grace Wallace Jasper. She worked at Montgomery Ward Distribution Center prior to her retirement and was a member of Mason First Church of God in Mason, Ohio. She is survived by one son, Larry O'Neal & (Shannon) Ard of Vevay, IN, one daughter, Carolyn Sue & (Richard) Burns of West Chester, OH, two brothers, Jack Jasper and Willard Jasper both of Science Hill, five sisters, Jessie Waddle of Cincinnati, OH, Ruby Delk and Katharyn Martin both of Somerset and Margaret James and Hazel Wesley both of Science Hill, six grandchildren, Tricia & (Mike) Oden, Tara Ard, Rachel Ard, Sarah Ard, Tyler Ard and Jacob Burns, one great-grandchild, Lily Oden and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Marvin "Dickie" Ard, who died on November 11, 2002, her parents and one brother, Jimmie Jasper. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 12, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill with Rev. Terry Ball officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
