Mary E. Baker

Mary E. Baker, 74, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Drum, Kentucky on March 5, 1937, daughter of the late Henry and Edith Childers Mounce. She was a homemaker and a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church #1. She is survived by two sons, Richard C. Mounce of Somerset and Jimmy Mounce of Rockvale, TN, five daughters, Sharlotte Schlensker of Norwood, OH, Dora Bernice Hargis of Somerset, Betty Lee Gossett of Nancy, Ola Mae Young of Somerset and Shelia Kaye Mounce of Somerset, two brothers, Harold Mounce of Eubank and Howard Mounce of Piney Grove, two sisters, Margie Mize of Somerset and Joyce Mounce of Piney Grove, four grandchildren, Christy Goodin, Melissa Goodin, Casey Swain and Cecil Mounce, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cecil Ray Mounce, second husband, Frank Baker, parents, step daughter, Carolyn Sue Burkett, one brother, Bobby Mounce and two sisters, Doris Jean Mounce and Patricia Mounce. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, April 14, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Shelby Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Malvin Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
