Elmer Lawrence "Larry" Dickhaus

Elmer Lawrence "Larry" Dickhaus, 74, of Waynesburg, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Veterans Medical Center. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 26, 1936, son of the late Elmer J. and Irene Golden Dickhaus. He was a heavy equipment operator and a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, June Gastineau Dickhaus of Waynesburg, two sons, Rick Dickhaus of Crittenden, KY and Paul Dickhaus of Berea, KY, three daughters, Diann Mounce of Eubank, Brenda Denny of Willisburg, KY and Cynthia Black of Waynesburg, three brothers, Johnny Dickhaus of Ohio, Paul Dickhaus of Goshen, OH and David Norman of Ohio, three sisters, Phyllis Baur of West Virginia, Patty Dickhaus of Goshen, OH and Mary Lobring of Illinois, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Bobby Dickhaus, one daughter, Sandy Dickhaus and one sister, Juanita Seibert. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 15, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Sisson officiating. Burial will be in Double Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
