Zella Mae Vaught Jasper

Zella Mae Vaught Jasper, 95, of Bethelridge, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Vaught Ridge, Kentucky on November 27, 1915, daughter of the late William Marion and Elizabeth "Betty" Jasper Vaught. She was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by four sons, Glen Jasper of Radcliff, KY, Guy Jasper of Mintonville, KY, Carroll Jasper of Nancy and Danny Jasper of Somerset, four daughters, Barbara Wells and Reva Byrd, both of Science Hill, Loueva Clark and Bonnie Wesley, both of Bethelridge, eighteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Jasper, her parents, one son, Gary Jasper, one daughter, Lorene Jasper, seven brothers, five sisters and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Shady Grove United Methodist Church with Bro. Bobby Clark and Bro. Lester Randolph officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
