Ivan Baugh, 94, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Mintonville, Kentucky on August 4, 1916, son of the late Quency Clay and Ellen Ashley Baugh. He was a farmer and retired from the University of Kentucky Agriculture. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
He is survived by two grandchildren, Joey & (Sherry) Borders of Lexington and Cyndi Kelley of Somerset, two great-grandchildren, Chance Borders of Lexington, KY and Robin Ray Kelley Jr. of Somerset, son-in-law, Joe Borders of Lexington and one sister, Velma Blackburn of Somerset.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby E. Phelps Baugh, who died on December 7, 2004, his parents, one daughter, Rosemary Baugh Borders, son-in-law, Robin Ray Kelley Sr., three brothers, Leamond Baugh, Lewis Baugh and Hollis Baugh and one sister, Merlie Pence.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
