Lawrence Frank Hines, 83 of Lawrence Hines Road in Science Hill, passed away Sunday May 27, 2007 at his residence following a lengthy illness. He was born in Pulaski County on August 3, 1923, son of the late Shird and Vada Waddle Hines. He was a farmer, sawmill worker and worked for Vaught Brothers. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Geraldine Hines, two daughters, Connie & (Joe) Whitis and Cathy & (Dwight) Beck, five sons, Charlie & (Billie Jo) Hines, Gary "Is" & (Francis) Hines, George "Daniel" & (Lillie) Hines, Randy & (Lisa) Hines and Jeffrey & (Bridget) Hines all of Eubank, one special niece, June Blanton and one special nephew, Billy Slaybaugh both of Science Hill, thirteen grandchildren, Corbett "Big Bub" and Courtney Brock, Amanda, Charles, Jr. "Biggun", Brandon "Ragu", Adriana and Kylie Hines, Brittney McGowen, Josh and Amber Hines, Aystin Ping, Marissa Hines and one yet to be born, one brother, Tom Hines of Eubank, one sister, Mary Slaybaugh of Indianapolis, IN, many nieces, nephews and several that he called his own. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Ronnie Eugene Hines, one brother, Robert Hines and one sister, Opal Smiley. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill with Bro. Shelby Reynolds and Bro. Robert Collins officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
