Anna Evelyn Bishop Surber, 89, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Golden Living Center in Stanford.
She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on October 17, 1921, daughter of the late Fed and Florida Todd Bishop. She was a homemaker and a member of Estesburg Church of Christ. She enjoyed quilting and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, John Alvin Surber, two sons, Lester & (Linda) Surber and Denver Surber, all of Eubank, one grandchild, Doug & (Gina) Surber and two great-grandchildren, Carlie Keller and Evan Surber.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, George Ottis Bishop and William Marvin Bishop and three sisters, Edith Tyree, Mae Dye and Ruth French.
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Carter and Bro. Dewey Todd officiating.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
