Margie Hampton Crawford

Margie Hampton Crawford, 91, of Science Hill, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on October 24, 1919, daughter of the late Albert E. and Hattie Brown Hampton. She was a farmer and a homemaker. She was a faithful attendee of Campground Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and watching her animals. Mrs. Crawford is survived by one son, James R. & (Dean) Crawford of Richmond, KY, one daughter, Susan & (Michael) Wooton of Science Hill and one granddaughter, Kimberly Crawford of Richmond, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lindsay Crawford, whom she married on January 25, 1947 and who died on January 13, 1999 and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Ashley and Bro. Brian Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Sweeney's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
