Robert R. Burton

Robert R. Burton, 59 of Closade Drive in Eubank, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Nancy, Kentucky on December 26, 1947, son of the late Delno and Lucille Muse Burton. He was an empolyee of Vaught Bros. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Mofield of Eubank, one son, Robert Gene & (Jean Claire) Burton of Lancaster, seven brothers, Harold & (Ellawease) Burton, Brent & (Janie) Burton, Larry & (Lynn) Burton, Mike & (Brenda) Burton, Lanny Burton and Danny & (Alica) Burton all of Nancy, David & (Christine) Burton of McCreary County, three sisters, Neva & (Arthur) Troxtell of Bronston, and Sandra Barker and Judy & (Gary) Morris both of Somerset, three grandchildren, Natosha Sue Ann Burton, Jessica LeAnn Burton and Zackary Robert Burton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Jack Wayne Burton, Joel Howard Burton and James Jay Burton and one nephew, Douglas Harold Burton. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, June 9, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill, with Bro. Noel Dodson and Bro. Gary Morris officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
