Iva Reece

Iva Reece, 94, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2011. She was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on September 12, 1916, daughter of the late Vinnie "Jack" and Ella Salyers Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Harold Frey Reece of Chicago, IL and Landis Dane Reece of Somerset, two daughters, Barbara Delores Wesley of Louisville, KY and JoAnn Reece of Somerset, one sister, Jewell Richardson of Somerset, ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Morgan Reece, her parents, two sons, Rexford Morgan Reece and Darrell A. Reece, one daughter, Linda Joyce Reece, one brother, Raymond Williams and two sisters, Sadie Todd and Inez Fredrick. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Phil Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
