Verna Rebecca Holt

Verna Rebecca Holt, 92, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on July 21, 1919, daughter of the late John and Lizzy Ashley Young. She was a homemaker and a member of Pollyann Chuch of God. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia & (Michael) Grant, three sons, Albert Howsen, Larry & (Kathy) Holt and Randall Baugh, all of Eubank and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Holt, her parents, six sons, Jimmy Lee Holt, Johnny Holt, Frankie Blair, Michael Blair, Bobby Howsen and Danny Wayne, two brothers and five sisters. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, August 12, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Linville Daulton officiating. Burial will be in Briary Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
