Margie H. Dobbs

Margie H. Dobbs, 76, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Sloans Valley, Kentucky on October 25, 1934, daughter of the late James Ortley and Sally McKee Brown. She was a caregiver for Hospice of Lake Cumberland. She is survived by two sons, Tim Dobbs & (Tonya James) of Science Hill and Allen & (Katie) Dobbs of Apple Gate, MI, one daughter, Jewell & (Kenny) Taylor of Science Hill, four brothers, Cressell & (Elleen) Brown of Sloans Valley, KY, Orville Lee & (Jo) Brown of Blue John, KY, Doyle Brown and Kenneth & (Linda) Brown, both of Sloans Valley, KY, one sister, Della & (William) Lemmon of Sloans Valley, KY and seven grandchildren, Jonathon Taylor, Clarence Taylor, Lane Dobbs, Lake Dobbs, Lynn Dobbs, Levi Dobbs and Amber James. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dobbs and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Goforth officiating. Burial will be in Sloans Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
