Ida Maxine New Dick

Ida Maxine New Dick, 90, Franklin, KY, formerly of the Mintonville Community, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Medical Center in Franklin, Kentucky. She was born in Mintonville, Kentucky on August 20, 1921, daughter of the late George and Elsie Moore New. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one son, Albert Dick of Lexington, KY, four daughters, Darlene Tritschler, Geneva Powell and Violet Dick, all of Lexington, KY and Carolyn Berryman of Stamping Ground, KY, two brothers, Bud New of Muncie, IN and Delmer New of Florida, two sisters, Marie Yaden of Liberty, KY and Faye Taylor of Science Hill, eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eartis Dick, one son, Bobby Dick, four brothers, Elmer, Noble, Silas and Valanda New, one sister, Lola Spears and one grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ron Meece officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:30 AM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
