Betty Ruth Watson

Betty Ruth Watson, 82, of Covington, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at University of Cincinnati. She was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky on April 8, 1929, daughter of the late Charles Evans and Mattie Cook Burgin. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Charles Ray Watson of Erlanger, KY, two brothers, Charles Burgin Jr. of Shelbyville, KY and Wilson Burgin of Newport, KY, four grandchildren, Anthony Black of Verona, KY, Melissa & (Gregg) Watkins of Hebron, KY, Chad & (Jenny) Watson of Burlington, KY and Jennifer & (Ryan) Wilson of Erlanger, KY, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Harold Watson, who died on November 26, 2010, one daughter, Shirley Ann Black, one grandchild, Melinda Ann Fritz and one great-grandchild, Anthony Lucas Black. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
