Donna Jean Carter

Donna Jean Carter, 63, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 30, 1947, daughter of Charles and Mary Elizabeth West Brinegar. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She attended a bible study at the Pulaski Baptist Association Building. She is survived by her husband, Wilbur G. Carter of Science Hill, her parents, Charles and Mary Elizabeth Brinegar of Science Hill, two sons, Coury Lee Carter of Science Hill and Charles G. Carter of Somerset, one daughter, Cassandra Jean Lohnes of Linden, VA, five sisters, Connie Gail Downs of Xenia, OH, Mable Ann Martin and Bobbie Sue Kendall, both of West Union, OH, Sandy Conover of Xenia, OH and Brenda Kay Smith of Huber Heights, OH, six grandchildren, Dalton Lohnes, Ian Lohnes, Ryland Carter, Zachary Carter, BriAnna Carter and Austin Carter. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Shadoan officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
