Mary Emogene Dick

Mary Emogene Hines Dick, 74 of Orvil Dick Road in Science Hill, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Ware, Kentucky on February 11, 1933, daughter of the late Albert and Dorothy Mae Hodge Hines. She was a homemaker, a member of Vaught Ridge Church of Christ and a member of Senior Friends. She is survived by three sons, Hobert & (Rebecca) Dick of Nancy, Chester & (Beth) Dick of Somerset and David & (Daisy) Dick of Waynesburg, five daughters, Betty & (John) Mistyurik of Troy, Ohio, Ethel & (James) Cooper of Nancy, Ruby & (Gary) Burton of Somerset, Reva Dick of Science Hill and Peggy Dick of Science Hill, two sisters, Lou Ella Mofield of Somerset and Bertha Bolin of Nancy, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orvil Lee Dick, whom she married on January 27, 1950 and who died on January 29, 2002, her parents, one son who died in infancy, one daughter, Anna Mae Dick, three brothers, Henry, Don and Richard Hines, one sister, Lela Dalton, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 29, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home, Science Hill with Bro. John Baxter officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
