Nadine E. Griffin Smith

Nadine E. Griffin Smith, 70, a long time resident of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on November 26, 1940, daughter of Mabel Griffin Spears and the late Everett Griffin. She was a housewife and retired cook from Oran's Wagon Wheel Restaurant. She was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Claud Smith of Eubank, five children, Jerry & (Jeanie) Smith, Tim & (Diane) Smith, Doris Walker, Ricky Smith, all of Eubank and Misty & (Mike) Wilson of Hebron, KY, her mother, Mabel Spears of Eubank, seven grandchildren, Chasity & (Kevin) Caudill of Eubank, Sam Walker & (fiancé, Bobbi Judd) of Richmond, Jonathan & (Pamela) Smith of Somerset, Justin Smith of Somerset, TJ Smith of Eubank, Trent Wilson and Raegan Wilson, both of Hebron, KY, three great-grandchildren, Hayley Roberts, Brooke Walker and Addison Grace Smith, one brother, John & (Sandy) Sweet of McCreary County, KY, one sister, Diane Dalton of Somerset and a host of nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Cole and Bro. Aaron Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
