William Warren

William Warren, 78, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 after a four day illness following surgery at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on February 6, 1933, son of the late Jerry Mar and Para Dick Warren. He was a welder for many years. He worked for Raugh Bros. in Ohio, Lear Siegler in Somerset as well as others. He accepted Christ and was baptized at the age of 75. He was a member of West Science Hill Baptist Church. He was a wonderful loving man, loving his wife, family and church. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ivadean Pitman Warren, his son, William Larry "Sharky" Warren of Science Hill, two daughters, Linda & (John) Hale of Somerset and Judy & (Hershel) Haste of Science Hill, five grandchildren, Tony Haste of Richmond, KY, Jennifer & (Eric) Scott of Bowling Green, KY, Ben & (Teresa) Haste of Science Hill, Denetta Hale of Somerset and Brittney Warren of Science Hill, five great-grandchildren, Dastin, Zian and Kohen Scott of Bowling Green and Kyndal and Kylee Haste of Science Hill. He was awaiting the arrival of his 6th great-grandchild, who is due to arrive on November 29th. He is also survived by one brother, John Cal Warren of OH, two sisters, Janice Warren and Brenda Sue & (Danny) Dick, both of Science Hill, brother-in-law, Eugene & (Juanita) Pitman, sister-in-law, Loraine Adams as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, Monica Haste, three brothers, Egbert, Don and Dirl Warren and three sisters, Imogene, Geneva and Virginia Maye. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. T.J. Godby and Bro. Norman Harper officiating. Burial will be in West Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
