Vola Ray Ping

Vola Ray Ping, 66, of Ferguson, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at Somerwoods Nursing Home. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on August 18, 1945, son of the late Vola and Margaret Russell Ping. He was an employee of Alumina Tech. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Arthur Ping, two sons, Earl Wayne Meece and Tony Price, three daughters, Susan Raye Ping, Crystal Ping and Tonya Crane, one brother, Cecil Ping, one sister, Lois Foster, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gilbert Ping. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lowell Gossett officiating. Burial will be in Rock Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12 Noon Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
