Donna L. Hodge

Donna L. Hodge, 57, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Monday, November 28, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Nancy, Kentucky on June 28, 1954, daughter of the late James and Icie Vaughn Phelps. She was a head start teacher in Hamilton County, Ohio and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Archie Hodge of Somerset, two sons, Jay Logan of Columbus, OH and Scott & (Raina) Hodge of Nancy, three brothers, Barry Phelps of South Carolina, Delno Phelps of Sumter, SC and Dorman Phelps of Newport, VA, three sisters, Joyce Boone of Gainesville, FL, Janet Keith of Sumter, SC and Mildred Bray of West Chester, OH and two grandchildren, Brittany Halcomb and Abbie Hodge. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Jimmy Phelps, Clarence Phelps and Ray Phelps and two sisters, Laurel Teeter and Bonnie Cain. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Walter Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
