H. Thomas Walther, Jr., 72, Eubank, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at his residence.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on February 19, 1939, son of the late Howard T. Walther Sr., and Marietta Hayes Walther. He was an engineer and a member of the Science Hill Christian Church.
He was a team member with Somernites Cruise. Member and Past President of Eubank Ruritan Club. He loved traveling, leather work and wintering in Sea Way Village in Arroyo City, Texas, where he enjoyed fishing and attending Harlingen Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Hines Walther, two sons, Brad & (Amanda) Schrock of Ozark, Missouri and Bob Walther of Somerset, Kentucky, two daughters, Barb & (Mike) Williams of Miamisburg, Ohio and Michelle & (Dan) Johnson of Cape Gerardeau, Missouri, one Sister Carolyn & (Ron) Weekley of Miamisburg, Ohio, and eight grandchildren, Christopher, Libby & (Adam), Corey, Katie, Sam, Zoe, Zack and Shelbee.
A memorial service will be held at 6 PM on Tuesday December 6, 2011 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Lucas officiating, with a meal following the service, which will be served at the Science Hill Christian Church.
A visitation will be after 5 PM on Tuesday December 6, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society or the Science Hill Christian Church Pastoral Fund.
