Jack Mofield, 80, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at his home.
He was born in King Bee, Kentucky on July 14, 1931, son of the late Marion and Fonnie Dick Mofield. He was a farmer and a member of the Mt. Gilead Masonic Lodge #255.
He is survived by two daughters, Deborah & (Lloyd) Gastineau of Stanford, KY and Annette & (Randy) Burton of Eubank, six brothers and sisters, Lydia Dye of Fort Wayne, IN, Doris & (Don) Bailey of Cincinnati, OH, Dene & (Robert) Waddle of Lexington, NC, Toy Lee & (Bert) Hall of Science Hill, Patty & (Jim) Albrecht of Franklin, OH and Tom & (Glenna) Mofield of Eubank, seven grandchildren, Misty & (James) Shelton, Mindy Gastineau & (Troy), Richard & (Kathy) Gastineau, Melissa & (James) Hamilton, Ben Burton, Blake Burton and Brad Burton, two great-grandchildren, Shelby Shelton and Rafe Shelton, the mother of his children, Bina Jones and caretaker, Julie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Arlene Vanhook and brothers-in-law, Marcus Dye and Curtis Vanhook.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, January 13, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Johnie Waters officiating.
Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with a Masonic service at 8 PM by Mt. Gilead Masonic Lodge #255.
