Rev. James C. Miller

Rev. James C. Miller, 78, of South Langdon Street in Somerset, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Hyden, Kentucky on April 14, 1929, son of the late Bob and Ora (Bowling) Miller. He was an Evangelist for Penticostal Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Anna (Collins) Miller of Somerset, whom he married on September 6, 1944, his children, Carol Vanover of Somerset, Linda Inabnitt of Somerset, Penny Wooton of Similex, KY, Robert Boyd Miller of Stanford, KY, Brenda Reed of Somerset, Jay Miller of Science Hill, Scottie Miller of Science Hill and James Greg Miller of Eagle, ID, three sisters, Sally Sizemore of Blossom, TX, Mallie Gibson of Hyden, KY and Really Sizemore of Hyden, KY, fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings, Flora Napier, Martha Begley, George Miller, Mary Miller and Siller Wagers and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert Lee and Lucy Jane (Baker) Collins. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Letcher Napier and Bro. Jerry Holland officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
