Albert Cecil Roy

Albert Cecil Roy, 73, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Thompson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky. He was born in King Bee, Kentucky on February 20, 1938, son of the late Jardon and Mary L. Dick Roy. He was retired from Tecumseh and of the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Connie Mae West Roy, one son, Tim & (Lisa) Roy, one daughter, Cindy Roy, one sister, Marie Petrey, all of Somerset, two brothers, Lloyd T. Roy of Sharonville, OH and William D. Roy of Cincinnati, OH and a very special granddaughter, Jordan Nicole Roy. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Thelma Lay, Illene Pitman, Imogene Hall and Retta Roy and one brother, Elzie Roy. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Lester Randolph and Bro. Jason Jasper officiating. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
