Ray Adams

Ray Adams, 77, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2012 at his residence. He was born in London, Kentucky on January 2, 1935, son of the late Andrew and Alta Riddle Adams. He was a trouble shooter mechanic for General Motors and a coal miner. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his wife, Willa Ford Adams, one son, James Adams, one daughter, Jennifer Presley, three sisters, Barbara Cooper, Gertrude Talent and Madge Adams, six grandchildren, Christy Adams, Angela McKee, Joseph Adams, Emma Frost, Rachel Presley and Kate Presley and four great-grandchildren, Shannon Smith, Lucas McKee, Laila McKee and Aria Quigley. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Earl Adams and Ellis Adams and one sister, Geraldine Dixon. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David and Sis. Shirley Rodriguez and Bro. Tony West officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
