Barry Lynn Faw, 51, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012 at his residence.
He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 26, 1960, son of Vada Frances Williams Faw and the late Glenn Allen Faw. He was a member of Oak Grove #2 Baptist Church, where he loved singing in the choir and serving as an usher.
He is survived by his mother, Vada Frances Faw, one sister, Karen Faw Cook & (Larry), one nephew, Kevin & (Auburn) Cook, all of Eubank, three nieces, Melody & (Justin) Rinker of Findlay, OH, Melinda Schmied of Louisville, KY and Stephanie Willis of Charlestown, IN, three great-nieces and five great-nephews. His friendly smile and gentle ways will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Allen Faw, one sister, Kathy A. Faw Wilson, maternal grandparents, Manville and Osa Williams and paternal grandparents, Robert A. Faw and Maude Faw Wheeldon.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, February 3, 2012 at Oak Grove #2 Baptist Church with Bro. C.E. Jacobs and Bro. Bill Meece officiating.
Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Crab Orchard, KY.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home and after 1 PM Friday at the church.
