Earl "Chuck" Dunz

Earl "Chuck" Dunz, 61, of Burnside, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born in Jeffersonville, Indiana on December 7, 1950, son of the late Martin and Lauda Mullins Dunz. He was an auctioneer and a U.S. Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, Betty Sumner Dunz of Burnside, two sons, Fred Hutchison of Burnside and Otis Hutchison of Lily, KY, two daughters, Ruth Jewell Smith of Manchester, KY and Rose Hutchison of Somerset, one brother, David Dunz of Burnside, nine grandchildren, Scott Stogsdill, Whitlee Stogsdill, Secret Shae Stogsdill, Joshua Askins, Randy Askins, Shannon Askins, Destiny Smallwood, Jordon Smallwood and Emma Smallwood and two great-grandchildren, Alley Ball and Brenton Askins. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, William Dunz. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gary New officiating. Burial will be in Sumner Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post #38. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
