Hazel Wesley

Hazel Jasper Wesley, 65, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Shady Grove, Kentucky on October 14, 1946, daughter of the late Elmer and Grace Wallace Jasper. She was retired owner and operator of Mintonville Grocery and a member of Carter Ridge Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Bobby K. Wesley, one daughter, Cassandra Haste of Mintonville, KY, two brothers, Jack Jasper of Mintonville and Willard Jasper of Shady Grove, three sisters, Jessie Waddle of Cincinnati, OH, Margaret James of Shady Grove and Kathryn Martin of Somerset and two grandchildren, Adam Wesley, Hannah Haste and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jimmie Jasper, two sisters, Gladys Ard and Ruby Delk and one brother and three sisters who died in infancy. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Melvin Sisson and Bro. Richard Owens officiating. Burial will be in Carter Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
