Sue Ann Dick, 69, of Eubank, Kentucky, went home to be with her Savior and to be reunited with her baby boy Josh on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born in Polly Ann, Kentucky on September 4, 1942, daughter of the late Johnny Green and Bessie Ashley Smith. She was a homemaker and attended Newell Christian Fellowship. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was an avid reader and loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a love and faith for her Savior and her family that was bigger than life. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
She was married to Dallas Ray Dick and to this union six children were born, Doug and Dreama Smith, Rodney and Mauricia Smith of Somerset, Daniel and Cindy Dick of Science Hill, William Dick and Elaine Tucker, Tina Logan and Scott Walker of Eubank. She had twelve grandchildren, Dennis and Chassada Smith, Jeremy and Jessica Smith, Josh Mullins, Monica Logan, Tyler Logan, Danielle Dick, Josh Tucker, Beth Tucker, Theresa Smith and Megan Walker, two great-grandchildren, Braedyn Henderson and Sarah Smith, with two more on the way. She is also survived by seven brothers and sisters, Mildred Warren of Somerset, Claude Smith, Lavern & (Delmer) Whitter, Marcella & (Vernon) Blevins, Lloyd Smith and Gloria Dean & (Billy) Dick, all of Eubank and Grace Trevor of Florence, KY as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Joshua Dick, one brother, Darrell Smith, two special sisters-in-law, Jurlean Smith and Nadine Smith and one special nephew, Bobby Whitter.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Cole, Bro. Aaron Hogue and Bro. Roger Grammer officiating.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:30 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
