Douglas Gene William Littrell, 50, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 21, 1962, son of Eileen M. Kwas Littrell and the late Darrell T. Littrell Sr. He was a successful business man and owner and operator of Goldcraft Jewelers. He was a member of St. Mildred's Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by three sons, Douglas Gage Littrell of Louisville, KY, Nicholas Darrell Littrell and Lucas Donald Littrell, both of Bronston, his mother, Eileen M. Littrell of Bronston, his fiancée, Anne M. Piercy of Somerset, four siblings, Darrell T. Littrell Jr. of Somerset, Dawn M. Littrell of Bronston, Dean C. Littrell of Burnside and David B. & (Shelia) Littrell of Somerset, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at St. Mildred's Catholic Church with Father Mike Ramler officiating.
Burial will be in Pilot Cemetery in Waynesburg, KY with military honors by American Legion Post #38.
Visitation will be after 5 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
