Marlin Lee "Model T" Smith

Marlin Lee "Model T" Smith, 76, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Paola, Kentucky on January 12, 1936, son of the late Hubert Smith and Lucille Poynter Smith Wilburn. He was a farmer. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Taylor Smith, whom he married on August 13, 1960, one daughter, Marla Anne Smith-Galan, both of Science Hill, one sister, Beatrice Perry of Crab Orchard, KY, three half brothers, Jack Smith of Louisville, KY, Bill Smith of Shelbyville, KY and Tommy Wilburn of Louisville, KY, three half sisters, Betty Huffines of Louisville, KY, Andrea French of Shelbyville, KY and Teresa Lee Bullock of Mt. Vernon, KY and two grandchildren, Sergio Santiago Galan and Xavier Augustine Galan. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Della Mae Camplese and two half sisters, Emma Jean Allen and Irene Cummings. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to God's Food Pantry in Somerset, KY. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
