Robert Shannon May

Robert Shannon May, 64, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away, Friday, March 23, 2012 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was born on September 6, 1947, son of the late Hollis May and Jesse Norlena Elliot Woods. He was a retired mechanic for AB Steel Mill and also worked for Alton Blakely. He was a Diasbled American Verteran having served a tour in Vietnam, and a member of Cuba Community Church of God. He is survived by his wife, Beverly May, one son, Donald & (Amy) May of Eubank, Kentucky, one daughter, Trudy May of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, one half brother, Joe Woods, two grandchildren, Heather & Dustin Murphy of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, six great grandchildren, a close friend, Jimmy Kidd, and a host of friends and relatives. A visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday March 25, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Cuba Church Cemetery. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Monday March 26, 2012 at Cuba Community Church of God with Bro. Troy Roberts officiating. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
