Sue Wall Acton, 69, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away, Friday, March 31, 2012 at Danville Center for Health & Rehabilitation following a long illness. She was born in Eubank, Kentucky, on May 16, 1942 daughter of the late Emery Russell and Della Faye Wall. She was a farmer, homemaker, a 4-H leader for 17 years, and she attended Cuba Community Church of God. She loved spending time with her children and teaching all ages in Vacation Bible School. She also loved watching NASCAR racing, working on genealogy, talking and spending time with her grandchildren, talking on the phone to friends and family, she loved family reunions and get together's. She never met a stranger. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. She is survived by three children, Tommy & (Pam) Acton, Billy Acton, and Nancy & (Brian) Hargis, all of Eubank, KY, four grandchildren, Aaron Acton, Marissa Acton, Lindsey Hargis and Kelsey Hargis. She also has one great-grandchild, John Jefferson Lee Acton. She was the oldest of seven children, She is also survived by a brother, Jackie Lee & (Phyllis) Wall of Eubank, KY, four sisters, Marie & (Jerry) Scott of Harrodsburg, KY, Pat Morris of Eubank, KY, Melva & (Tom) Palmer of Waddy, KY, and Barbara & (Gary) Thompson of Eubank, KY. She leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, James Wall. A funeral service will be held at 12 PM, Wednesday April 4, 2012 at the Chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Goforth & Bro. Troy Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Etna Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday April 3, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
