Robert Elmo Vaught Sr., 70, of Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2012.
He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on November 4, 1941, son of the late Arthur Lewis and Effie Jane New Vaught. He retired as a pallet broker and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Robert Elmo Vaught Jr. of Corbin, KY and Jeremiah Vaught of Irvine, KY, two brothers, Joe C. Vaught and Carlos Lee Vaught, both of Eubank, two sisters, Trula Pilcher of Frankfort and Edna Lucille Vaught Todd of Eubank, one grandchild, Robert Elijah Vaught, former wife, Patricia Vaught of Richmond, KY and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tenny Ray Patrick, his parents and four brothers, Clarence Vaught, Glen Arthur Vaught, Desota Gibson Vaught and Paul Albert Vaught.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Fetter Wilder officiating.
Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
