John Jacob Hunter

John Jacob Hunter, 73, of West Highway 635 in Science Hill, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Britthaven Nursing Home. He was born in Laurelville, Ohio on September 11, 1934, son of the late Guy John and Elsie Mae Wynkoop Hunter. He retired as head custodian from Harbor Schools in Port Charlotte, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Faye Stansberry Hunter, whom he married on September 12, 1977, six sons, Johnny, Jerry, Guy, David, Todd and Doyne, three daughters, Cheryl, Renee` and Theresa, three stepchildren, Donnell, Donna and Ronnell, two brothers, Guy and Glenn, five sisters, Dorothy, JoAnn, Nancy, Donna and Susie, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Betty and four brothers, Howard, Fred, George and Marvin. Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be after 1 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
