Lois Trowbridge, 82, of Pepper Street in Eubank, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born in Argyle, Kentucky on October 3, 1924, daughter of the late Egbert and Nellie Gifford Adams. She was a homemaker and a member of Eubank Church of Christ. She was also a former employee of First State Bank and former owner and operator of Lois' Food Market.
She is survived by two sons, Robert & (Lottie) Trowbridge and Rodney Trowbridge, both of Eubank, one daughter, Barbara Trowbridge of Eubank, two grandchildren, Matthew Trowbridge and Kyle Trowbridge, two step grandchildren, Elaine Hall and Corey Adams and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Trowbridge, her parents, two brothers, Matt Adams and Marvin Adams and two sisters, Vera Mercer and Artie McMullin.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, October 5, 2007 at the chapel of Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price officiating.
Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
