Lona Lee Jasper

Lona Lee Jasper, 89, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 11, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born in Mangum, Kentucky on December 10, 1922, daughter of the late Millard Filmore and Tabbitha Randolph Dick. She was a homemaker and a member of King Bee Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, Silas Green Dick of Ft. Myers, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie C. Jasper, whom she married on October 21, 1944 and who died on November 3, 1992, her parents, six brothers, George Dick, Alex Dick, Andrew Dick, Frank Dick, Robert Dick and Clip Dick and three sisters, Eliza Dick, Nancy Dick and Dona Anderson. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, June 14, 2012 at King Bee Baptist Church. Burial will be in Sweet Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
