Doris Marie Cox

Doris Marie Cox, 83, of Danville, Kentucky, formerly of Science Hill, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on April 14, 1929, daughter of the late Claude and Flonnie Cooper Wilson. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa & (John) Coats of Louisville, KY and Sandra & (Jack) Lee of Danville, KY one sister, June Cox of Seaman, OH, two grandchildren, Jonathon Coats and Kendra & (John) Moore, three great-grandchildren, Kyler Moore, Jon Konner Moore and Makinlee Moore, niece, Claudia & (Wes) Mitchell, great-nephew, Andrew Mitchell, great-niece, Emily & (Kevin) Bell and great-great-niece, Peyton Bell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Cox, who died on July 3, 1998 and her parents. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, June 16, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Meece officiating. Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
