Joseph William "Bill" Carter

Joseph William "Bill" Carter, 61, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Pulaski County, Kentucky on November 12, 1950, son of Josephine Webb Watson and the late Garriest D. Carter. He was an auto repairman and owner of Carters Body Shop. He was a member of the Greenriver Archaeological Society of Kentucky and the Ohio Archaeological Society. He is survived by his mother, Josephine & (Ron) Watson of Somerset, two sons, William Preston Carter of Milford, OH and Aaron Shane Carter of Adrian, MI, one daughter, Alicia Marie Spurlock of Milford, OH, four brothers, Gary Lee & (Sharon) Carter, Terry Morgan, Sam & (Beverly) Morgan and Eric & (Carrie Ann) Cunnagin, three sisters, Sharon & (Jim) Marsicano, Karen & (Stuart) Wheeler and Rhonda & (Steve) Wilson and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Singletontown Church of God with Bro. Carson Atwood and Bro. Ray Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Singletontown Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
