David Ernest Wilson

David Ernest Wilson, 58, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on April 27, 1954, son of Zora Lee Correll Wilson and the late Edgar Wilson. David loved being with his family, riding horses with the Apple Dumplin Gang, working with old cars and hanging out with the Saturday garage gang. He frequented Hardee's and Geralds Auto Parts. He was a member of West Somerset Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Doris Ann McQueen, whom he married on May 6, 1972, one daughter, Annette & (Jeff) Taylor, one son, Davy & (Shera) Wilson, his mother, Zora Lee Correll Wilson and five grandchildren, Jeffrey & (Bridgett) Taylor of Somerset, Megan, Hayley, Hannah and Bryan David Wilson, all of Science Hill. He is also survived by two brothers, Jerry & (Martha) Wilson and Eddie & (Billie) Wilson, two sisters, Sandi Hensley and Tina Wilson, all of Science Hill, brothers and sisters-in-law, Jimmy & (Donna) McQueen, Wendell & (Jennie) McQueen, Ronnie & (Della) Bolin, Donna & (Ronnie) Branum and Sherry & (Steve) Duff. He was "UNC" to Brad & (Chelsie) Wilson, Brandon & (Heather) Wilson, Angie Ryan, Kristi & (Buddy) Johnson, Denise Bolin, Keli & (Beth) Branum, Jessie Duff, Katie Duff, Jamie & (Julie) McQueen, Jonathan & (Aimee) McQueen, Shawna McQueen, Stephanie McQueen and April McQueen and thirteen great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, one nephew, Bryan Hensley, his in-laws, James and Lena McQueen and sister-in-law, Kim Bolin. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, June 29, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butte, Bro. Jeff Lockard and Gary Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in West Somerset Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:30 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
