Geneva Mae "Tom" Wesley

On May 2, 1922, Geneva Mae "Tom" was born to Estel and Stacie Wesley Godby. She married Loyal Wesley on February 18, 1939 and from this union they were blessed with two sons, Jim & (Morene) Wesley and Gary & (Shirley) Wesley, both of Science Hill, one daughter, Brenda & (James) Eubank of Richmond, KY, one sister, Chestine Blevins of Lexington, KY, sister-in-law, Betty Godby of Somerset, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She worked for the Pulaski County Board of Education after retiring from Palm Beach in 1977 and was the only living charter member of West Science Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and friends tremendously. She also enjoyed her flowers and her church. Her husband preceded her in death on May 12, 2001, also her parents, three brothers, Estel Godby Jr., Charles Godby and Robert "Bob" Godby, brother-in-law, Clyde Blevins, sister-in-law, Bernice Godby and one grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Don Branscum and Bro. T.J. Godby officiating. Burial will be in West Science Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 PM Tuesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
