Freeda Wiles Dick, 91, of Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Cumberland Nursing & Rehab.
She was born in Bethelridge, Kentucky on August 7, 1920, daughter of the late Melvin Wiles and Gertie Phelps Dick. She was a seamstress for Palm Beach and a charter member of Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Maxine Black of Science Hill and Brenda Miller of Richmond, KY, son-in-law, Jerry Cassada of Louisville, KY, seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dolphus Dick, who died on April 6, 1996, her parents, one daughter, Bobbie Cassada and two sons-in-law, Sammy Miller and Harold Black.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Wiggins officiating.
Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
