Marvin Lee Lovins Sr.

Marvin Lee Lovins Sr., 73, of Crab Orchard, Kentucky, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012. He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on September 16, 1938, son of the late Louis Herbert and Mary Frances Tull Lovins. He was a self-employed body shop worker. He is survived by three sons, Randy Dale Lovins, Jeffery Allen Lovins and Marvin Lee Lovins Jr. and one daughter, Anita Sue Bast, all of Versailles, KY. He is also survived by three brothers, Eddie B. Lovins Sr. of Somerset, Ralph Dennis Lovins of Murphy, NC and Gary Norman Lovins of Nashville, IN, one sister, Maudie Virginia Medaris of Columbus, IN, a very special friend, Lela McWhorter of Crab Orchard, KY, five grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald Thomas Lovins and Henry Roger Lovins. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, July 30, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Marvin Cromer officiating. Burial will be in Hazeldell Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home. Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
